Divisional Commissioner reviews status of four -laning of Jammu-Akhnoor road JAMMU, NOVEMBER 01 (KNO) Divisional Commissioner, Dr. Mandeep K Bhandari reviewed the progress of four laning of Jammu Akhnoor road here today. Divisional Commissioner reviewed action taken by various stakeholders for construction of 30.7 km long 4 lane road from Jammu to Akhnoor. During the meeting the Div Com directed the concerned departments to adhere to the timelines and asked for early start of on ground construction works of the project. Dr Bhandari directed for completion of procedure for transfer of land to NHIDCL. Land acquisition for the project will be followed by floating of tenders for the project by NHIDCL which is the executing agency for the project.
